Sunglasses are something I’ve always skimped on to be able to buy more important things….like tri kits! Why spend $100+ on sunglasses when I can get one for $5 at a gas station. Plus I loose them ALL the time. At an Ironman expo we stopped by the ROKA booth and tried on some sunglasses. (more…)
Some races are about chasing a PR and some races are about having fun. California Sprint Triathlon was all about having fun and maybe trying to beat last year’s time but I was trying a few new things at this race so I was going to be happy with just having fun. (more…)
Race Prep
It’s here! It’s here! The first time trial of the year. The race was scheduled for last Tuesday but it got rained out and rescheduled for this week. My expectation going into this time trial was to get a new base line and to have a little bit of a dip from last season. At this point I’m trying not to make lofty goals; just hitting PRs no matter how big or small. I’m excited to see what this season brings. (more…)
