This is my third time doing the Brian Waterbury Memorial Run, which offers a 1/2 marathon and 6 mile fun run. The vibe of any even starts with packet pickup and this one starts off on the right foot. My husband, David Dixon, was the team captain for the USA team competing at Battle of the Nations, the international championships for historical medieval battle. It was held May 5-9th, 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic. David fought on USA1 for group battle 5v5 and the team for group battle 21v21. Each team is allowed up to three 5’s teams and one 21’s. Accommodations and Sight Seeing
Since this is a destination race for most readers I will mention our accommodations, dinning suggestions, and tourism as well as a race report. We are staying at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten which is just shy of a mile walk to the start line. There are some much closer hotels but since we booked late the rates were already very high.
